The little things

I wish I could video record my life and just put it out there for people to see. I'm not anyone exciting, I don't lead a rock-star life, I don't have big important meetings with influential people, so one would think it's a boring life...but let me tell you. The amount of RA-tarded (thank you Hangover) people that i deal with on a daily basis would make a show of my life quite comical. Now, when I say ra-tarded I don't mean the mentally challenged or w/e they're called now-a-days...I mean the people out there that completely lack all common sense and believe they are always right. Always.

There are those that feel even though they are the school psychologist, they should be able to tell me where I need to be working. Update!: I'm the Library typist. You're a school psychologist (who rewards the bad children- I'm still trying to figure that one out). Guess what!? I'm going to be working in the library today and every other day, so don't waste your breath telling me to go down the hall to be a monitor.

Then there are those whose job title is Principal, and never come out of their office to talk to their staff and when they see a child run the opposite way. I'm sorry, something is wrong with that picture.

There are those that feel even though there's a Library sign up sheet, they don't need to use it. Just because you wear beautiful Cole Haan Mariela Air Sandals that are worth $400, it doesn't mean you can just waltz in and take over the library. (Now if you gave me the shoes it'd be a different story...)

And my favorite today: Those that feel even though the book that their daughter borrowed from the library was damaged, she shouldn't have to pay for it. Let's just keep in mind the daughter decided to color all the pictures in the book AND most of the words, then throw it in the washing machine to wash off the crayon, only to give it back with about 5 pages that you could actually read. 5. Out of 32. My apologies ma'am...How could I even THINK about charging you for such minimal damage?

It's only Monday and this has me quite worried. With the amount of ra-tarded people and issues I put up with today, I can only imagine what's in store for the rest of the week... :-x

How do people that lack all common sense make it in this world!? And why do people put up with them?!?!?

Because I have so much time...

I've decided to start this blog. Well, that's a lie. I don't have that much time. Yet. But I will. And I'll explain. Later. First, let's just thank Whitney for getting me on here. She's the reason that I have found out about blogs. I mean I knew about them and have heard that people blog, but I didn't realize that it can actually be fun and amusing! Whitney's blogs are always appreciated whether they make me laugh (which happens quite often) or cry (I'll admit one did).

I figure this will be a good place to vent, if needed, or just throw my thoughts out there since I know you're all dying to hear them. We'll see how well I keep up with this. Seeing that my life is a bit chaotic, time may be an issue. You're probably thinking that I mean I won't have enough time...Think again. I'll have plenty of time. I don't have a full time job during the summer (well, come September I won't have a f/t job at all, but that's another post...)

Ok, getting back on track- I have the summer off. From June 25- September 1. You guessed it, I work in a school district. Sooooo, since I am not working like normal people, I spend my summers up in Maine on the beach!!! So you see, I have PLENTY of time to keep up with this blog, but what I don't have is the power to sit inside on a beautiful sunny day when there is a big sandy beach a minute down the road. So we will just have to see how many posts I will make during my "oh-so-busy" summer life :-)
